Holden Roofing sales representatives go through a thorough training program that includes shingle manufacturing plant tours, installation training with many of our representatives working directly on our roofing crews, and ongoing product training. Holden Roofing’s installation crews are second to none in the roofing industry. Many of our crew leaders have been working exclusively with Holden Roofing for 10 or more years. Our crews carefully protect existing landscaping and sweep jobs following installation with a magnetic nail sweeper. The majority of our roofs are still hand nailed, an installation method not being used by most of our competitors. By hand nailing shingles, our roofing crews are able to insure that roofing nails are driven the proper depth into the shingle at the proper angle. This is very important in areas, such as Houston, where the high winds associated with tropical weather can be a concern.
